The Passion Behind Legendary Dogs

Monterai Adams is the Founder of Legendary Dogs, a customizable pet sitting service that provides love and care to your pets and peace of mind to you. Monterai has always had a huge heart for pets but especially dogs and cats. She grew up in a household that always had dogs. Her first rescue happened when she was just eight years old. A scruffy terrier mix she lovingly named Coco.

In 2018 she moved back to Mooresville from Wilmington after finishing graduate school into a small suburban house with her two dogs. It wasn’t long before she added a third dog.

Monterai worked in the development review devision of several local government planning departments where she began to see how space and intention can make your passion come to life.

Long before she decided to pursue her passion in creating an all inclusive pet care company she had been taking care of the neighbor’s pets and stopping to pet every dogs she saw.

She currently lives out in the country next to cows that she bought for her dogs to “live their best lives".” She spends all of her spare time doing things with her family, friends, and of course her pets, which are her children.
